Juno Welcomes Andrei Angelescu To Our Team

We’re very pleased to welcome Andrei Angelescu as an Electrical Engineer at Juno Engineering.

Andrei brings close to a decade of hands-on experience across both field and office environments, contributing to major greenfield and brownfield projects in Western Canada. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, he spent the early part of his career helping build a gas plant in northern BC – followed by expansion work that doubled its production capacity. He has also supported numerous MOC projects in gas and SAGD facilities, giving him a strong technical foundation across diverse operating conditions.

An engineer with broad interests, Andrei expanded his perspective by earning an MBA from Porto Business School (University of Porto), an experience he credits with pushing him outside his comfort zone and deepening his appreciation for teamwork, complementary strengths, and ongoing leadership development. Over the past two years, he has taken on increasing leadership responsibilities, guiding his own team and supporting projects with versatility, strong work ethic, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Originally from Romania and a Calgarian since 2003, Andrei values respect, growth, and meaningful personal relationships – qualities that guide both his work and life. He’s excited to learn from the depth of expertise across Juno and continue developing his project management and leadership skills while working toward his PMP designation.

Outside of work, you’ll often find him at the gym, catching a show to unwind, or working toward personal goals like buying a home.
Andrei’s versatility, eagerness to learn, and focus on building strong working relationships make him a great addition to the team.

Welcome to Juno, Andrei!
